Blynda DaCosta Photography is a contemporary lifestyle studio that specializes in capturing wedding, engagement, maternity, baby and family images using soft natural light and personalized locations.

What inspired you to become a photographer?

About 9 years ago I was attending art school in Florence, Italy specializing in abstract painting. Not surprisingly, I found myself addicted to my camera. Instead of working on my paintings, I found myself honing my photography skills and used anyone/anything I could find as a model. By the time I came back home to Toronto, I was hooked and it’s been true love ever since.

How would you characterize your style?

Contemporary, timeless, sophisticated, and true-to-life.

Who are your clients and what should they expect?

My clients are style-savvy in a relaxed and real way, they are kind and active members of their community and most of all they are family-focused. When working with me, they can expect a customized experience that form fits their family’s specific needs and goals. I love to meet new people and my goal is to leave them with smiles on their faces and happy memories to take home.

Anything else to share?

As well as being a dedicated and enthusiastic portrait photographer, I also enjoy throwing the ball for our English Bulldog Duddly, making my husband laugh with my silly sense of humour, reading anything I can get my hands on, flipping through home decor magazines and dreaming of my future home in the country
