Sarah Wiggins captures real emotions that are honest and pure through her unobtrusive photojournalistic style. Her ability to make everyone around feel at ease comes from her kind nature and patience. And most importantly she is professional, enthusiastic, loves to be creative and have fun with you on your wedding day or during your portrait session..
What inspired you to become a photographer?
I started photography in high school. I needed an outlet for my creativity and drawing and painting just didn’t do it for me. Later I found out my grandfather was a great amateur photographer – he had a studio and a darkroom in his house and a real passion for photography. So I guess it’s in my genes!
How would you characterize your style?
I have a very photojournalistic style, and do very little editing afterwards on the computer. This comes from shooting film (which I still do on occasion) where editing wasn’t much of an option. I also let my clients be themselves and have fun. I do not overly direct or pose people.
Who are your clients and what should they expect?
Clients who choose me tend to be easygoing, fun, and enjoy creativity. There is nothing I enjoy more then capturing the feel of the wedding or connection between family members, working with non-traditional poses and wonderful photo locations.
Anything else to share?
I am offering one-hour family portrait sessions at the location of the clients choice for only $180 (regularly $300). This includes a DVD with all the images in high resolution. They can be purchased for oneself or as gifts – if purchased as a gift they receive a beautiful holiday card and matching envelope.
