It’s only a matter of time before the air gets colder, snow starts to fall and the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping and get togethers start to jam up your calendar. We’ve got you covered on what Toronto family events you should take the time to see and do before holiday madness sets in.
Why it’s Cool. The fair is the largest indoor agricultural fair and horse competition in the world. Watch the horse shows, browse the exhibits from farm animals to vegetables or simply shop and eat. Packed with events and things to do it has something for everyone in the family.
When it’s Hot. November 4-13th, at Exhibition Place
Why it’s Cool. A Toronto tradition for over a century, the parade marks the real start of the Christmas season in the city. The celebration comes complete with more than 25 floats, two dozen bands, over a hundred clowns and of course the main man himself, Santa Claus. Beginning at Christie Pitts and ending at Church and Front streets, there are many great spots to wait and enjoy.
When it’s Hot. November 20th
Why it’s Cool. The 45-year-old tradition sees live musical performances, ice skating, many, many twinkling lights and the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree at Nathan Phillips Square. To top off the night fireworks will light the sky. Bundle up warmly and enjoy!

Why it’s Cool. The place to go for all things mom, baby, toddler and even prenatal, parents can take a look at products, services and special speakers. Kid-friendly activities and entertainment will also occupy your little one while you check out what’s new and hot.
When it’s Hot. November 11th-13th
Why it’s Cool. Browse your way through a vast selection of gifts and home décor made by Canadian artists. Comes complete with a family area to drop off children age 2-8.
When it’s Hot. November 24th to December 4th
