Canadian Beauty Innovation Awards


On Friday November 2nd, the ING Direct Café in downtown Toronto was a buzz with beauty industry professionals discovering the latest and greatest in Canadian products while all star judges were on hand to determine the winner of the 1st Annual Canadian Beauty Innovation Awards.

Organized by Natasha Lewis, Founder of the Canadian Beauty Group, the awards have been designed to provide a platform for Canadian businesses focused on taking innovation to the next level and should offer industry recognition both in Canada and abroad.

Inaugural Beauty Awards Bring Out Top Names in the Industry

The ‘celebrity’ judges included; Charmaine Gooden, Beauty and Health Editor for Chatelaine Magazine, Editor-in-Chief of Images Magazine and Host of W’s The Beauty Guide; Robin Kay, President of the Fashion Design Council of Canada and Director of World MasterCard Fashion Week  in Toronto; Susan McGill, Co-founder & Executive Director, at JOLT and Senior Advisor at MaRS Discovery District; Sean Ramnarine, Director of Strategic Procurement for Shoppers Drug Mart; Mary Tripi, International Hair Stylist and David Clemmer, Canadian-born television personality, celebrity stylist and CEO of Judy Inc.

Ten finalists competed for the title Beauty Innovation award and showcased a wide range of products including:
