#eskaquest the Toronto Social Scavenger Hunt

eskaquestThroughout the month of July, Toronto families will be able to take part in a unique social scavenger hunt. #eskaquest will have participants exploring the city, searching for hidden tiles, taking part in challenges, collecting points and having a blast.

#eskaquest the Toronto Social Scavenger Hunt

What exactly is a social scavenger hunt? Take everything you know about a traditional scavenger hunt and add in a complete social network to support and elevate the hunt. ESKA Water is embracing smart phone technology and creating a fully interactive scavenger hunt. Grab your phone, lace up your walking shoes and take the kids for an adventure in the city this summer. Get started by visiting eskaquest.com to download the free mobile app to your smart phone.

There are two easy ways to participate in eskauest, Solo or Clues. Solo is for players who want to find the hidden tiles with the assistance of the map provided at eskaquest.com. While Clues involves players receiving clues daily via ESKA’s social media streams. Be sure to follow along with eskaquest on Facebook, Twitter (ESKA_water) and Instagram (ESKAWater). Either way participants will search for the ten ESKA themed tiles and once found, will scan the QR code to reveal a fun challenge. The online challenges will test the player’s knowledge or require players to get creative and interactive. For every challenge completed players accumulate points and are entered for a chance to win 1 of 10 iPad minis.

The quest starts July 1st…are you ready to get out and start searching the city?

In my "previous life" I was a mental health professional...in my current life I'm a stay-at-home mom with 2 beautifully adventurous kids. I share everything that lands on my kitchen counter over on my blog, Kitchen Counter Chronicles. Swing by and learn how we are greening their lives; what we are crafting; what we are cooking and what we are reading. While you will often find the girls and I inside the kitchen, you will also find us out and about getting our hands dirty, exploring and learning outdoors.
