Cirque de Soleil is back with a new spectacular show. This summer they will be taking audiences into a magical curios cabinet, a cabinet of curiosities. Due to to overwhelming demand for tickets and strong reviews, ten performances have recently been added to this seasons limited engagement. KURIOS will be taking over the circus Big Top from August 28th thru October 5th. Audiences will travel inside the Seeker’s curio cabinet, where a collection of wildly imaginative characters come to life. The Seeker will discover that the imagination can unlock a magical and magnificent world of wonder.
KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities is being led by director, Michael Laprise. Michael Laprise has worked with the Cirque de Soleil team since 2000. Over the years he has worked in various roles, on numerous international productions. In 2012, Laprise worked with Madonna on her NFL halftime extravaganza and then went on to direct her MDNA tour.
This year marks Cirque de Soleil’s 30th anniversary and KURIOS is the team’s 35th production. If you have never attended a Cirque de Soleil performance there is no better time to take a chance and leap into the incredible world of KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities.
