“Krista-link-a-la” by Tina Petrova: On May 31st, Redfish Bluefish Creative Cafe will be hosting Canadian filmaker Tina Petrova and the launching of her first children’s book, “Krista-link-a-la and the Size 13 Shoes”. Tina Petrova will be reading her new book and will follow up the reading with a question and answer period and book signing.
Burger Day: All week long restaurants around the city have been celebrating the humble burger. On June 1st, Fort York will be taken for the grande finale of Burger Week…Burger Day. Fort York will be filled with restaurants serving up slider sized versions of their favourite burgers. A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Stop Community Food Centre. www.burgerweek.ca
MEC Bikefest Toronto: Head to Trinity Bellwoods Park on May 31st and celebrate our favourite two wheeled mode of transportation, the bicycle. The event is free and everyone in the family will find something to enjoy.
