One Land, Many Nations

June 29-July 2 , HarbourFront Centre

On Canada Day weekend, Toronto’s waterfront features popular artists from across the country  representing voices that are feminist, Indigenous, People of Colour, queer, newcomer and otherwise underrepresented within Canada – or Kanata – these concerts will showcase the many talents that live, learn and create together on this land.

Canada Day at Mel Lastman Square

5 pm to 10:30 pm, 5100 Yonge St

Celebrate Canada’s 151st birthday with music, arts and a spectacular fireworks display. Free Admission. Live performances, face painting and fireworks.

Canada Day at Queen’s Park

10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Front Lawn, Queen’s Park

Take the family to the lawns of the Ontario Legislature on Canada Day at Queen’s Park for a FREE day of non-stop fun and activities, including music, dance and children’s shows  roaming performers, games and kids activities including face painting, arts and  crafts. Plus a 21-Gun Salute at noon! Boom!

CN Tower Fireworks

Join them on July 1 as they celebrate Canada’s birthday with a spectacular fireworks display and lightshow. The show begins at 10:30pm with a 30 second lightshow, followed by 5 minutes of fireworks set to Canadian music, and will end with another fantastic light display.

Centennial Park in Etobicoke

11 am to 11 pm, Fireworks at 10 pm

Spend the day in the park by enjoying the many picnic areas, playgrounds and a wading pool. Take a stroll along the pond or through the Centennial Park Conservatory, with its exciting seasonal plant displays. Also enjoy Rotary Etobicoke’s Toronto Ribfest running simultaneously.

Paddleboat Rides on the Natrel Pond

June 30 / Sunday, July 1, 11:00am–8:00pm
Natrel Pond, 235 Queens Quay West

Take a break from the Canada Day mayhem  and enjoy a fun float on the Natrel Pond, located beside the picturesque Harbourfront Centre boardwalk. Two-seat and four-seat boats are available. Rental is for a 15-minute ride and includes life jackets. Paddleboat rentals are available weather permitting.
