March Break is in full swing in #thesix. If you’re looking for a few kid friendly activities, check these out. From live theatre to teary goodbyes, there’s something here for everyone.

Say goodbye to the giant pandas

Go to the Toronto Zoo and say goodbye to the Pandas!

Head to the Zoo before March 18th to say goodbye to Da Mao, Er Shun, Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue before Canada’s only four giant pandas end their five years at the Toronto Zoo and make their move to the Calgary Zoo.

Build suff at the LegoLand Discovery Centre

It’ll be busy but the Lego lover in your family will have a ball at Legoland. Created specifically for the 3-10 year old set, they can build away with tips from master Builders, explore the  Ninjago Adventure City, go on rides and even see a 4-D movie.

See a play at Young People’s Theatre

Take in a live performance of this beloved classic. There are shows all through March Break with pre-show activities at the theatre. When lonely Mary, shunted off to live in England  discovers a mysterious hidden garden, she takes refuge there uncovering secrets that, like her, need to be brought into the sunshine. Come early to join in a craft activity connected to play and participate in a scavenger hunt throughout YPT’s heritage building.

Get dramatic at a workshop for toddlers to teens at Union Station 

FREE YPT drama workshops for toddlers to teens! Union Station is packed with family fun as they host a variety of unique activities during March Break, including dynamic Drama Workshops led by YPT Artist-Educators: Parent & Toddler Drama Time Workshops, Drama Creation Workshops for ages 8-12, and Drama Creation Workshops for ages 12-16. Join the fun!

Solve the mystery at Black Creek Pioneer Village

Head out to Black Creek Village for some outdoor farm fun.

Special March Break Activities

  • Solve the Mystery! The game is afoot! Junior Detectives, we need you to help Sherlock Holmes and Watson to solve the Case of the Missing Jewels!
  • Maple Syrup Adventures Watch out for sticky fingers, literally. Starting at 12:00 each day, delve into the delicious world of maple syrup.

Weekday Hours: 10:00 – 4:00  / Weekend Hours: 11:00 – 4:00
Four children can visit for FREE with the purchase of at least one Adult or Senior Ticket.
