Where to Eat in Toronto: Winterlicious 2018

Every now and then, parents need to get out and enjoy some quality time  – sans enfants. One of the best excuses for booking a babysitter is the annual festival of food, Winterlicious, where you can hit some of TO’s swankiest restos and bistros at a fraction of the normal price. The list of dining options is long and mouth watering. This  prix fixe event takes place in over 200 Toronto venues From Jan 26- Feb 8, 2018. Participating restaurants offer up mouth-watering three course dinners ranging from $33-$53 and lunch menus from $23-$33

Making Reservations – Reservations are OPEN! For a complete list of participating restaurants, head to the City of Toronto’s official Winterlicious site. There you’ll see daily listing of restaurants that are taking reservations. Aside from viewing the daily listings, you can also sort the restaurants based on price, type of cuisine and location.

Yuzu No Hana

Culinary Events – Winterlicious also includes special culinary events featuring seven one-of-a-kind cooking and dining experiences hosted by some of Toronto’s top venues and chefs including High Tea at Casa Loma and Murder on the Disorient Express. Some events are already sold out so take look!

Vegan? Or, Vegetarian? – If you happen to be vegan or vegetarian, never fear, there are options for you too. While perusing at the restaurant list, look for the little green “V” symbol and you will find veggie-friendly menu options. Where you see a green “L” that symbolizes menus that include local Ontario produce, meat and food ingredients.
